Maloney named
chief appraisal officer
for online antiques, collectibles
service
David Maloney of Frederick, a nationally known appraiser, author
and lecturer in antiques and collectibles, has been named chief
appraisal officer for Sales Online Direct.
Mr. Maloney, who is president of the Association of Online
Appraisers, will direct "Ask the Appraiser," a leading provider of
online appraisal services.
Sales Online Direct maintains and develops portals and Web sites
for companies and industries and focuses on the antiques and
collectibles industry.
Mr. Maloney is the author of "Maloney's Antiques &
Collectibles Resource Directory," a unique data base of resource
people, organizations and institutions in the collecting field and
"The Complete Online Course in Personal Property Appraising."
Mr. Maloney is a recipient of the ISA Lifetime Achievement Award
for his decades of experience, knowledge and contributions to the
appraisal industry and has hosted "Collecting Across America" for
PBS and "Treasures In Your Home: The World of Collecting" for PAX TV
and has been the lead appraiser for CollectingChannel.com.
