Foundation
Check Presented to the Children's Pediatric Trauma
Center
by Lloyd Enoch
Dr.
Clinton Cavett, right, accepts a check in the
amount of $3,150 from Div. 2 Past Lt. Gov. Lloyd
Enoch. The check comes from the Capital District
Foundation which raises funds through annual Ducky
Derby and
the Caring Corner held at the annual Capital District
Conference. The funds will be used to purchase
a "Transport Isolette" similar to the one shown below right by Dr. Cavett. The device is used to
move infants for treatment within the hospital.
The "Transport Isolette" costs over $7,000. The donation from the Capital District Foundation will cover
almost half the cost and will be helpful to children
throughout Southwest Virginia. |
