started with Cape Henlopen HS Key Club volunteers in
the telethon for
the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign. Just before heading
off to join the Light the Night Walk, Key Club Division
11A Lt. Gov Brett Morris '08 installed the Cape Henlopen
HS Key Club Officers for 2007-2008 at the Rehoboth
Beach Kiwanis Scout House. The next week, Cape Key
Club members had a fun project when they traveled to
Fall Rally at Six Flags with other District Key Clubs,
The next project was helping with the Cape Henlopen
Fantasy Trail, while other members attended the Kiwanis
Governor's Dinner in Dover. Members rounded out the
month's activities collecting for Light the Night during
lunch. Key Club made the early bird deadline with dues
paid for 43 members and as Vice President, Chrissy

Kiwanis International President Dave Curry (right) and First Lady Eva Curry will
be visiting the Capital District in late January 2008. During
this special time our district will be hosting a number of
events for the First Family of Kiwanis. On Saturday evening,
January 26, 2008 Governor Art and First Lady Vickie will
host a reception from 6-7 pm (with cash bar) followed by
dinner at the Comfort Inn Conference Center, 4500 Crain Hwy,
Bowie, Maryland 20716.
