| At the annual Charter Night Celebration of the Kiwanis Club of Capitol Hill, Club Secretary, Lily B. Williams, was honored with recognition as Kiwanian of the Year. Lily has performed exceptionally well as Club Secretary, maintaining Capitol Hill board and club books and records, including membership and attendance. This year was the first year of the innovative electronic filing of monthly Reports to the District and International chapters and Lily came up to the challenge. She pursued, sought and received training from whatever source or resource she could, including training, coursework and seminars at Kiwanis conventions. Having had experience formerly as our Interclub Chairperson, Lily also regularly and routinely made her available for inter-club meetings. Lily has represented our Club and has coordinated our gifts and support program to the HSC Pediatric Center, formerly known as the Hospital for Sick Children. She is extremely active in their annual June Fair fundraising celebratory event. Lily's award is well deserved! | ![]() |
