The convention was held in the huge and hansome Orlando Convention Center. Flags, music, excellent audio-visuals, along with colorful, noisy, enthusiastic attendees applauded the performance of International President Dave Currie for his crisp management and sense of humor throughout the Convention. more

2008 Capital District Convention Aug 14-17, 2008: A "Prescription for Success"

The 2008 Capital District Convention will be held this year from Thursday, August 14 through Sunday, August 17th in Richmond Virginia at the Downtown Marriot and the Richmond Convention Center, just a few blocks from the State Capitol. Hosted by the Heart of Virginia Region of the Capital District, this year's theme is "Prescription For Success,” and one of the big highlights-not to be missed-is Friday night's Birthday Party at the Marriott to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the District Convention. more

Danger! Men At Work - Flag Day

On Saturday June 21, four members of the Kiwanis Club of Poquoson, installed fourteen flag holders along City Hall Avenue leading to the Poquoson City Hall. These fourteen US Flags, will be in addition to seventy other US Flags that the Kiwanis club of Poquoson displays along the cities main street ten times a year on major holidays.
