Montgomery
Village - A Very Busy Club!
by Ayda Sanver
The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery Village has been very busy this Spring. On April 26, our club held a yard sale in the parking lot of the Bowl America on Clopper Road in Gaithersburg to benefit the YMCA's summer camp program. $1,200 was raised which sends several children to camp this summer who would otherwise be unable to afford to go to camp. On Saturday, May 3, our club participated in the Damascus Relay for Life and raised $7,000 to benefit the American Cancer Society. Club members walked until dawn and supported other walkers by distributing water and popcorn. For more information about happenings in our club, contact Betty Figlure at bf15154@comcast.net.

to be missed-is Friday night's Birthday Party at the Marriott
