| Serves Supper to Sick
Children and Families
Kiwanis Club of W-SS prepared and served Sunday Supper for the families checking in Sunday, Dec. 9th. The Children's Inn is located on the campus of National Institute of Health. This Sunday was full with many sick children and their love ones. They come from all over the world for treatment. We served a wonderful Christmas Supper with turkey, ham and all the trimmings. It was greatly appreciated by all. At this project we get an opportunity to meet people from many walks of life. This is a good time to recruit new members for our club and many times we have friends of Kiwanis help us. Pictured from l. to r. Lynne, Debi Macon, Gary Robinson and Olga Bruck. |

| Holds Annual Holiday
Luncheon
W-SS were so fortunate again this year at our Annual Holiday Luncheon at Argyle Country Club to be entertained by the Montgomery Blair High School Chorus under the excellent leadership of Paul Newpaort. We had visitors and many clubs attended with interclubs. |

| Holds Annual Christmas
Party for Kids
On
Wednesday, Dec. 19th the Kiwanis Club of Wheaton-Silver
Spring held
its annual Children's Christmas Party at the Pembridge
Community Center. Each year the gifts are wrapped
by our Wheaton High School Key Club members. Kiwanis
members haul, sort by age and distribute to about
90 children, all are needy, some from the after
school homework program; siblings of the students
and community
children all attend. Some of the toys and gifts
are from the Kiwanis Club of Olney's Toys for Tots
program.
Thanks for their help. Santa was there to give
presents, toys, candies, take a picture with each
child and
a great time was enjoyed by all. Parents love having
their picture with Santa, as well. Pictured from l to r: Murmi Morrill, Bernie Gardiner, Doug Hines, Pam Wilson, Betty Gardiner,
