Capital District Web Site Highlights New Features
by Rosemary Cummings

The Capital District web site has a new look. The drop-down menus are gone on either side of the page. Instead, look at the left sidebar for District Secretary-Club Administration page. This handy page is to assist the Club Secretary and other officers with everything you need to know to handle the Club administrative functions. Click on KiwanisOne for the Online Monthly Report, Location change and new this month, the Club Roster. Need forms and other information from Kiwanis International, then click on KI Administration or Forms. In the right hand column are instructions and forms for Awards and Recognition. The Monthly and the YTD Statistics features are not operable and will resume after Kiwanis International finishes their redesign.

The Training Conferences and Conventions page has information for Leadership and members at all levels. If you plan to go to the International convention, it is not too soon to reserve your hotel or look at the schedule. When the District Convention Schedule is ready, you can click for more information. Under Members, there is the Club Orientation-New Member presentation available in power point format. The Mid-Winter Conference has the schedule for each Region and will update as the Region provides new information. The Bulletin Board on the left side bar will contain information about events occurring in the District, such as the Visit of International President, Dave Curry. We plan more improvements to keep Capital District Kiwanians informed, increase Web site usage and provide online assistance. If you have questions about the web site or suggestions for improved functions, please contact the Web Master at stein@udel.edu.
