Governor-Elect Candidate

In accordance with the Capital District Policy Statements, qualified members who have filed their intention of being a candidate for the office of Governor-elect may have their candidacy announced District wide beginning on the second Friday in January. The Kiwanis club of Reisterstown, Maryland, supported by all of the Kiwanis clubs in Division Twelve, has presented Don L. Dudey as a candidate for the office of Governor-elect of the Capital District for the 2008-2009 Administrative year. - Ellis H. Stroup, District Secretary-Treasurer

Kiwanis International President's Capital District Visit/Dinner Scheduled

Kiwanis International President Dave and First Lady Eva Curry will be visiting the Capital District in late January 2008. During this special time our district will be hosting a number of events for the First Family of Kiwanis. more

Dulles Area Club Invites You to Special Meeting With KI Pres. Curry

The Dulles Area Kiwanis (DAK) Club would like to cordially invite all Kiwanians to their special club meeting being held on January 27th beginning at 2:00pm. Guest speaker for this special meeting will be Kiwanis Int’l President Dave Curry and his wife Eva.

Our meetings are located at the Cascades Regional Library, 21030 Whitfield Place Potomac Falls, VA 20165 Directions. Please RSVP no later than January 20th to Club President Heather Talbert (hlw1030@cox.net) as space is limited.

Dessert and drinks will be provided and a 50/50 raffle will be conducted to benefit the Kiwanis International Foundation Endowment Fund.
