The
Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg gathered the contents
and assembled 100 "well" kits containing personal items such as deodorant, combs, shampoo, soap, clothing
and books that will be distributed to soldiers who
have been wounded in combat in Iraq. Each kit also
contained a poignant note that had been created by
a student from elementary, middle or high schools.
Assembling the kits were Kiwanis members (from left
back row): Larry Murphy; Carla Morin; Jim Geiger; Scott
Zimmerman, Caren Schumacher; Martha Madeira; Bill Wren;
Art Bornschein; and Mary Beth Murphy. Front row: Tom
Jordan. The kits were shipped to arrive prior to Christmas.
