The Kiwanis Club of Annapolis continues to support the Arundel County Drug Court in Annapolis by not only attending Drug Court, but also providing $50 gift certificates to graduates of this much needed program. Judge Mike Loney and his team instituted this Drug Court in 2005, and has served to get young and old alike back on their feet in our society.
Should you attend the New Years Eve festivities in Annapolis this year, you should look for the Kiwanis Club of Annapolis banner at one of the venues. With the support of Annapolis Volvo the Kiwanians will be providing assistance to the ANNAPOLIS ALIVE organizers of the New Years Eve event and will be giving out free noise makers! The City of Annapolis celebrates 300 years in 2008 and the Kiwanis Club of Annapolis will be actively supporting programs for the community.
Kiwanis Clubs of Annapolis, Greater Annapolis and Mayo will be providing Christmas gifts and a party at the Central Special School in Edgewater on December 20th. Actually, there will be two parties, one at 10 AM and one at 1:30 PM.
