Kiwanis International President Dave and First Lady Eva Curry will be visiting the Capital District in late January 2008. During this special time our district will be hosting a number of events for the First Family of Kiwanis. more

Governor Art Riley and First Lady Vickie Visit Southwest Region

It's a long trip from Westminster, MD to the far corner of the Capital District's Southwest Region, but Governor Art and his wife, Vickie, spent the weekend prior to Thanksgiving doing just that -- as part of their official visits to Region 2, 3 and 8. By all measures, the trip was a success. more

Kiwanis Club of Old Town

Bill Armstrong, a member of the Kiwanis Club of Old Town (Winchester, Va.) instructs a young voter on the use of the Laptop Voting Machine during Kids Voting. The Club members instructed 410 young voters during the last election at the local elementary school.
