Governor Art Riley and First Lady Vickie Visit Southwest Region

It's a long trip from Westminster, MD to the far corner of the Capital District's Southwest Region, but Governor Art and his wife, Vickie, spent the weekend prior to Thanksgiving doing just that -- as part of their official visits to Region 2, 3 and 8. By all measures, the trip was a success. more

Kiwanis Club of Annapolis Installs Officers

The Kiwanis Club of Annapolis recently held its installation of officers for 2007-08. The ceremony was conducted by outgoing Div 14 Lt. Gov. Renee Mackey The new officers are President Jim Knorr, President-elect Grant Harmon, Secretary Rachel Madden and .Treasurer Gisela Pegram. The Board of Directors includes Ginny Fry, Immediate Past President Jim O'Farrell, New member Andrew Saba,and Bill Lovelace.
