2nd Key Leader Weekend Apr 25-27!

Final plans are underway for the Second Capital District Key Leader Weekend being held April 25-27th at Arlington Echo in Millersville, MD. The menus have been selected, the camp visited by Capital District Key Leader leadership, and registration well underway. All we need are for the Kiwanis Clubs to be sure their sponsored youth participants are getting registered and subsequent invoices paid. more

CKI Members: Willing and Ready to Help!

CKI Members are just like any other member of the Kiwanis family, except of course, we are crazy college students! But, you would be surprised to know that we are not as different as you think. We all love to complete service, work with kids, and even work on a few fundraisers. A good relationship with your CKI club can be beneficial for all parties involved. more

Dulles Area Club Holds Mini-Golf Fundraiser

The Dulles Area Kiwanis Club (DAK), is currently in the process of planning a Miniature-Golf fundraiser set to take place on May 17, 2008 at 11:00am at Woody's Golf Range in Herndon, VA. Funds raised from the event will support DAK's sponsored Key Clubs at three local high schools: Park View, Potomac Falls and Dominion.

DAK is currently soliciting for individuals and teams to play at the event. The pre-sale for the tournament has ended and spots are on sale for $30 per person/$120 per foursome. Come out for food, fun, games, and prizes! Prizes will be awarded to individuals in 4 aged-based categories: 10 and under, 11 - 13, 14 - 17, 18 and over.

If you are interested in participating in this family fun day please contact tournament chair Beryl Young at (703) 542-8387 or via email at dak.beryl@verizon.net to reserve your spots. Spots will not be locked in until payment is received. Advertising and sponsorship opportunities are also still available. Forms for tournament advertising, sponsorships, and playing spots can also be accessed on the DAK website: www.dullesareakiwanis.org. Hope to see you there!
