Hampden-Midtown
Club Holds Easter Egg Hunt
by Ted Zapalowicz
The Kiwanis Club of Hampden - Midtown held its 15th annual
Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday March 23 rd. Eggs stuffed with
candy was hidden around the Roosevelt Rec center. Children
10 and under from the Hampden community were invited to participate
in the egg hunt. The participants were broken down into age
groups. After finding their share of eggs, the children were
invited to have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny,
and they they were treated to lunch. This years hunt had
over 100 children participate.

Final plans are underway for the Second Capital District Key Leader Weekend being
held April 25-27th at Arlington Echo in Millersville, MD.
The menus have been selected, the camp visited by Capital
District Key Leader leadership, and registration well underway.
All we need are for the Kiwanis Clubs to be sure their sponsored
youth participants are getting registered and subsequent
invoices paid.
