CKI Members: Willing and Ready to Help!
by Samantha Staebell, CDCKI Editor

CKI Members are just like any other member of the Kiwanis family, except of course, we are crazy college students! But, you would be surprised to know that we are not as different as you think. We all love to complete service, work with kids, and even work on a few fundraisers. A good relationship with your CKI club can be beneficial for all parties involved. more

Ocean Pines/Ocean City Club Sells Officially Approved Ocean Pines House Number Signs
by David Landis

Pictured is Al Kastner of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines/Ocean City with the officially approved Ocean Pines House Number ID Sign which Kiwanis sells for only $15. To order stop by the OPA Administration Office at Whitehorse Park and fill out an order form to which you can attach your check made payable to Kiwanis Club (of Greater OP/OC). A member of Kiwanis will come to your house and install the sign at no additional cost out by the street as approved by Ocean Pines and recommended by both the Ocean Pines Police Department and the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department. The sign makes your house easier to find when responding to emergency calls or even for family or friends who are trying to locate your home. All homes have numbers on them, however some are far from the street and difficult to see. These approved signs make your house number much easier to see. Many Pines houses already have the brown signs with the orange letters but are in need of painting which the Kiwanis Club will do for only $8 after you fill out the form requesting it. Act now and spruce up your signs for spring. Proceeds go to the local Kiwanis Scholarship Fund for furthering education of deserving senior students at Stephen Decatur High School.
